Our story

Our story begins among olive trees.

For years, Custodio Borrego Mendoza ran an olive cooperative in Andalusia. There he came to know first-hand everything that lies behind a good olive oil: the work in the groves, the care taken at every step of production and the value of a job well done.

From that experience came an idea: to bring the best of olive oil to skincare. Custodio already knew what it meant to create formulas, so he surrounded himself with experts in chemistry and cosmetic formulation and, together, they turned that idea into real creams. That is how Yusera was born: with the excitement of a new project and the experience of many years devoted to the olive grove.

Today Yusera is an international brand that takes Andalusian skincare beyond our borders, without ever forgetting where it comes from.

Andalusian roots, an olive oil heart

We are from Andalusia and we know the whole olive oil production process first-hand, from the olive to the oil. We know what makes a good extra virgin olive oil special: its wealth of antioxidants, such as polyphenols and vitamin E, and the softness and comfort it brings to the skin.

Knowledge without borders

Yusera also looks far afield. We are partnered with a cosmetics factory in Bangladesh, with whom we share knowledge and craft. Their experience and their way of understanding skincare, rooted in another culture and another tradition, enrich our own and encourage us to keep learning every day. Thanks to this partnership, Yusera has reached other countries.

We are driven by curiosity. We combine what the olive grove has taught us with the actives of today's skincare, such as hyaluronic acid, peptides, retinol and vitamin C, and we are always looking for a better way to do things: new textures, new combinations and formulas designed for every skin type. Every product is born from that blend of tradition and innovation.

A family business

Yusera is, above all, a family business. Part of Custodio's family works in it every day, and you can tell in the way we do things: up close, with care and with the pride of putting our name to what we make.

We make what we sell

Our formulas are developed in Spain, and all our products come from our own factories in Granada and Badolatosa (Seville), in Andalusia. Behind Yusera is Andalusian Nature Lab, S.L., the same company that sells you the products on this website.
